'Rod Bataser Path' ( translated as the Sun and Wind Avenue) is the memoirs of Anita Agnihotri of the time she spent as a member of the Indian Administrative Service. From 1980 to 2016 — a long span of 36 years has been captured in this book in over forty short chapters. Written in crisp and melodious prose, the book is not the autobiography of a career bureaucrat, but a sensitive account of India under transformation from a Welfare State to a neo-liberal democratic system.
